Bedervale homestead was built between 1836 and 1840 by Captain John Coghill as a country cottage for his familly in Braidwood. The house was designed by John Verge, the designer of Camden Park, Menangle and Elizabeth Bay House, Sydney.Tours of the house are operated by Sonia Horan and are available by appointment only, however, guests are free to roam the gardens.
